Brief Description of the Event:

As a part of the International Women’s Day Celebration, the “Navosthri” Women’s Cell of Navodaya Dental College celebrated Women’s Day on 21st May 2026 in Lecture Hall-4, Navodaya Dental College, Raichur.

The event started with the Nadageete song. Dr. Anila K., Chairperson, Women’s Cell, NDC, welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest, Dr. Girish Katti, Principal, NDC, addressed the gathering with his ever-encouraging words.

The Women’s Cell of Navodaya Dental College conducted games for the non-teaching female staff on 20th May 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. On 21st May 2026, prizes were distributed to the winners by the Chief Guest. Following this, the Women’s Day celebration continued with cake cutting.

Dr. K. M. Parveen Reddy, Professor, Department of Paediatrics and Preventive Dentistry, delivered the Vote of Thanks. At the end of the inauguration function, the gathering stood for the National Anthem.

After the programme, all the non-teaching female staff were invited to undergo free haematology laboratory investigations in the Department of Oral Pathology.
