Oral Health Screening Camp Organized on the National Oral Medicine and Radiology Day

An Oral Screening camp was organized by the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Navodaya Dental College, Raichur at ADARSHA VIDYALAYA, YERMARUS, RAICHUR on 3rd Sept. 2026. A total of 468 students were examined during the camp.
The oral health screening camp objective was to give the awareness and educate about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene, and regular dental check up’s. The students underwent oral screening for common dental and oral conditions, and appropriate guidance was provided based on the findings. The students who showed any dental problem were referred to Navodaya dental college and hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
The principal of Adarsha Vidyalaya felicitated the staff members of the dental team as a token of appreciation for their efforts in conducting the screening camp. The principal and staff extended their support and cooperation in organizing and successfully conducting the camp.
The camp concluded with a positive response from the students and school staff, reinforcing the importance of early oral screening and preventive dental care and treatment required for the students.
