An awareness programme on sexual health and harassment prevention was organized by the ICASH Cell for III BDS, IV BDS students, interns, and postgraduate students at the AV Hall, Digital Library, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The programme commenced with the rendition of Kannada Nada Geethe, followed by a formal welcome address by Dr. Shilpa R. T., Professor, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology. The ceremonial watering of the plant was conducted thereafter.
A motivating and thought-provoking address was delivered by Dr. Girish Katti, Principal, Navodaya Dental College, who provided valuable insights into the significance of sexual awareness and the objectives of the programme.
As part of the ICASH activities, Canvas Painting and Short Video Making Competitions had been organized on earlier dates. The winners were felicitated during the programme.

The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sindhura, Professor, Department of Periodontics, followed by high tea.

The panel discussion commenced with great enthusiasm under the guidance of the moderators, who encouraged active participation from both the panelists and the audience.

The discussion proceeded smoothly with active participation from all attendees. The session encouraged open dialogue, helped dispel misconceptions, and promoted awareness regarding sexual health and harassment prevention.
The programme concluded with the moderators and anchors presenting a brief summary of the day’s proceedings. The event came to a close with the customary National Anthem.
