With the esteemed support and guidance of the Hon’ble Chairman of Navodaya Education Trust (NET), Sri. S. R. Reddy Sir, the Department of Periodontology, Navodaya Dental College, Raichur, successfully organized CDE & Workshop titled “Management of gingival recession by soft tissue graft” on 6th August 2025 in NDC, Raichur. Dr. Neelima Katti, Asst. Professor, Department of Periodontology, SCB Dental College and Hospital, Cuttack, Odisha, India was the Guest speaker for the Program.
The program was inaugurated by the Guest of honour, Dr T Srinivas, Registrar, NET has addressed the gathering by a delightful speech indicating the importance of Oral Hygiene day. Dr. Girish Katti, Principal, NDC has addressed the gathering with his ever-encouraging words. Introduction to speaker was given by Dr. Asif K, HOD, Dept of Periodontology, NDC. Over 55 under graduates along with faculty members and 25 post graduates attended the guest lecture and over 30 participants attended the workshop where they practiced how Management of gingival recession by soft tissue graft on sheep jaws is done. All the registered participants were provided with participation certificate. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jayashree Biradar, senior lecturer, Department of Periodontology. Having conducted “CDE & Workshop on Management of gingival recession by soft tissue grafts – 2025”, Karnataka State Dental Council, Bengaluru has provided an accreditation of “3 credit points” to all the registered delegates.
