CBCT INAUGURAL FUNCTION ON 04/09/2025

The state of the art advanced 3Dimensional Cone Beam Computerized Tomography Imaging equipment was installed in the department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Navodaya Dental College, Raichur.

It was inaugurated by Dr. Amruth Reddy, Director of Operations, Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur, along with Dr. T Srinivas, Registrar, NET, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Director, IP&SA, NET, Dr. Girish Katti, Principal, Navodaya Dental College and Hospital, Dr. Devanand, Principal, Navodaya Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Vajendra Joshi, HOD, Oral Medicine & Radiology on 4th September 2025.

This high-end equipment with field view of 16x17cm, care-stream make is one of its kind in Kalyana Karnataka Region. This will benefit people of this backward region to get quality and enhanced treatment.

This equipment is helpful to assess Facial bone fractures, Implant Planning and Orthodontic growth assessment of jaws. It has also application in ENT to assess paranasal sinuses, middle ear pathology air way analysis.

This equipment also has a feature of 3-Dimensional facial analysis to assess the treatment outcome. The unit has multiple fields of view from smaller to whole skull view. The advantage of this equipment is high accuracy and less radiation dose. The equipment is intricated with Artificial Intelligence for patient positioning & preliminary reporting.
