STATE LEVEL SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP 2025
Navodaya Dental College & Hospital, Raichur hosted two days state level workshop on 23rd and 24th July, 2025 for BDS internship students in association with Karnataka State Dental Council and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru on theme; BEYOND THE SYLLABUS. The programme was inaugurated and presented an overview of workshop by Dr. Shiv Sharan R, Member, Dental council of India. Dr. Chandrika Katti, gave welcome speech. Dr. T. Srinivas, Registrar, Navodaya Education Trust, addressed the gathering regarding importance of upgradation of knowledge and treating patient. Dr. Girish Katti, Principal Navodaya Dental College, addressed the gathering regarding the importance of speciality treatment. The inaugural programme was brought to end with vote of thanks by Dr. Suresh babu AM. 90 student delegates from Navodaya Dental College and AME’s Dental College graced the occasion making it a grand success. The workshop organized was helpful for dental interns about set up of dental clinic, practice management, communication skills, ethics and financial aspects. The keynote lecture was given by team from JSS Academy, Mysuru. Dr. Shalini N, on Strategic Planning for Establishing a Clinic, Dr. Mahadevaswamy on Financial and Resource Planning, Dr. Divya A Kurthukoti, on Planning and layout design of a Dental Clinic, Dr. Mamatha, on Health care communications and etiquette in dental practice and Dr. Raison Thomas on how to pursue postgraduation. The workshop was appreciated by Shri S R Reddy, Chairman, Navodaya Education Trust.
